Blasphemychallenge.com invites you to deny the existence of the Holy Spirit in an attempt to spur rational debate. While the web site is happy to sell you stuff, it fails to offer the opportunity to comment. My two cents: Is it any more blind to accept without question than to repel without consideration wisdom from our ancestors?
As I see it,
Christianity teaches a path toward inner peace,
though popular religion entangles its practitioners
in morality and personified mythology.
Rather than spirit,
pneuma (πνεύμα) means breath,
a primary vehicle
toward peace, disillusion, and selflessness.
ος δ αν βλασφημηση εις το πνευμα το αγιον ουκ εχει αφεσιν εις
τον αιωνα αλλ ενοχος εστιν αιωνιου κρισεως
Ignoring the breath condemns oneself
to dissatisfaction and ego. [Mark 3:29, sort of]
Why deny the existence of breath?
